| This charming circa 1890's farm scene by Francoise Cachoud is an example of the artist at his best. A student of the great Gustave Moreau and Robert Delauny, he competed in the Salon de Paris, 1892 through the 1940's. He also obtained a gold medal at l'Exposition Universelle in Paris. He was the recipient of the Legion d'Honneur in 1910. Works Held: National Musees Chambery, Oran, and the Petit Palais, Paris; and numerous American Museums including the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Art. |
